I hugged those shining soles of your lotus feet
To my breast as the lightening thrills entered
I danced with pure joy of heart when my eye lid
Babes swooned in the lap of sweet mother sleep
Softly my soul embraced heaven’s blissful space
How much sweetness did I drink beyond the skies!
How much inebriation lost in the waves of bliss!
Oh, my bliss of love on flowerbeds of paradise!
In thy footprints did I tip-toe as swan of light
In thy jingling anklets did I sing sweet delight?
Had I not a blissful vision of thy beautiful face
Seeing splendorous stars on thy sweet red lips
Disrobing darkness in the quarters of midnight,
With wondrous luster of the moon on thy cheeks
Denuding angels in my nectarine waves of bliss,
When you were chewing the shining orb of the sun
With green betel preparation, have I not seen
Your tongue of eternal Consciousness flashing as
A flag of flame from corners of thy blazing mouth
Oozing out the dazzling streams of my life blood
Whence forth millions of moons and myriads of stars
Flowing out, in the streams and torrents of blood
On your tongue I saw birth of clusters of galaxies
And myriads of souls taking shape of this creation
For thou art the mother of world and word divine
And thy tongue is the eternal source of creation
O Mother divine! O Mother of the Eternal Time
Obeisance unto Thee! O Mother Kalika! Om hrim Om!

venkat ... you always make me chew on thought for at least half an hour after I read from you ... only, dang you man ... Now I won't sleep ... "Disrobing darkness in the quarters of midnight" that line will stay with for for days maybe weeks as something I wish I had written. Fabulous as can most certainly be counted on by you ... kind sir>

I can't pick out just one line, because I'd have to be writing the whole poem! My dear friend, your words stretched forth like "a flag of flame from corners of..." your blazing PEN! This has the melodic flow that I have come to respect from your poetry, filled with sensations of enlightenment. This is a great admirable write! Once again! Be well my great friend! Angel always~godspeed~joni

Wow Venkat you never to cease to amaze
me. Your poems are a treat to read. The
whole poem was amazing, but two lines in
particular really stood out to me.
"How much inebriation lost in the waves of bliss!"

and

"Disrobing darkness in the quarters of midnight,"

that was just terrific. I'm not sure if you are a
drinking man, but if you do drink the next
round is on me.

You are truly a great writer. But I would have to guess that you have a lot of expirience at it. I saw a lot of things in this poem that inspired me. Most of all was your touch of nature

Incomparable write! Mesmerizing. The language of a mystic next to whom the "crafts" people of poetry have to pale.

"On your tongue I saw birth of clusters of galaxies
And myriads of souls taking shape of this creation"

Awesome! Too stunnign for the donw-to-earth poet artisan,
but perhaps we must thank our creator for permitting the different echelons of awareness, and perception, to make space for admiration and aspiration.and true obeisance.
Be blessed Kenkat!!

Elizabeth

An amazing read. I found myself reading over it multiple times. You, my friend are a poetic prodigy. The heart and skill you put into your poetry is nothing short of quintessential.

"Your tongue of eternal Consciousness flashing as
A flag of flame from corners of thy blazing mouth
Oozing out the dazzling streams of my life blood
Whence forth millions of moons and myriads of stars"

The imagery is flawless and dazzling to the eye. Excellent write, take care my friend.
