I murdered you
You murdered me
On the outside we're awake
On the inside eternally asleep
Breaking each other
Torturing with pain
Stabbing daggers in backs
And screaming in vein
Our once bright eyes
Grew cold and dim
We watched our future grow
More and more grim
On the outside we're joyful
Happy and clean
Does anyone understand
We're living a mere dream?
We weren't meant to be
We tried to make it work
By putting on an act
To cover up the hurt
We shouldn't live this way
Go on in our lie
Wretched tainted things
Causing us to cry
Abandoning our hope
Our dreams have died
Long long ago
We gave up on life

| This is one of those poems tha is so deep you scarcley know what to say. It's hard to pinpoint how it makes you feel al you know is that is was very good. |
