burning, flaming flickering beyond the trees, the light
spilling through the trees is the light of those who
believe, what they believe is that prejudice, segregation
and hate should be banished from the world, but
beyond the trees lies a world filled with such things as
could be unimaginable, in this world darkness reigns,
hate and segregation walk hand-in-hand with
the people, between these two worlds lies a
line of trees, these trees are not a barrier and is as solid
as smoke, these trees act as a marker to tell all where the light
ends and the darkness begins, in the minds of all the people of
the world lies the seeds of hate, these seeds either lay dormant
or are large horrible trees, bent and misshapen from the darkness
within, this seed sprouts only when a person is in an environment
full of hate, the light is dim but the light is growing, inch
by inch the line of trees expands enveloping the dark land with
light, so I leave you with this thought, the light is growing
brighter but it can easily grow dimmer.
