Caress my heart with dagger fingertips,
Savor my pain as if wine
Relish the hatred I feel for you,
Leave another scar on my soul
Cant you hear me breaking?
Glass shattering in the darkness,
Desolate, cold, forgotten
And my cries of despair are left neglected,
My tears unseen
And a little more of me dies inside,
Each and every day.
As you pay no heed
Yet, my smile never wavers,
This mask of deception forever adhered to my face
I dont know who I am anymore,
If what I feel is genuine,
Or just emotions and thoughts programmed,
Into this malfunctioning mind
Embrace me in your bitter arms of feigned sympathy,
Tell me with your deceitful tongue,
That everything will be alright
Guilt,
Fierce and relentless,
Takes over me,
And I believe your lies once more
Again, I try to make things work,
I try to see the good in you
But, where does purity lie,
Inside a lecherous monster?
How can Justice find me,
If she is blind?
Where does the excuse come in,
For the greedy hands that tainted me?
NOWHERE
Too long you have manipulated me,
Making me think that I would never be free
Too long youve haunted me in my dreams,
Leaving me with nothing but fear and screams
Within my world of insanity,
There is no you
The proof is on my hands,
Smeared crimson lies,
The dagger laughing on the floor,
Your body, lifeless, at my feet
Never will I forgive,
Never will I forget
Never again will I call you
