To care so much to suddenly let go
To unexpectedly forget all I know
To render such precautions in life
To force myself to defy the knife
Thoughts of you swarm in my mind
Only to remember how you were so kind
An angel on earth you were to me
You were everything I want to be
But youre life was stolen instead of mine
And despite what they say I will not be fine
They say to remember the good times before end
But it only reminds me we cant have them again
Your absence makes me unfulfilled
And so I knock down the walls we did build
Defenseless and weak am I without you
Honestly I dont know how to make do
Spare your life and take my own
But it is too late, Im already alone
The bright smile that would light up my day
Is no longer there portrayed on your face
Now in your grave you lye so cold
And Im left to remember these memories of old
Heaven sent you had been loved
Now youve returned to your throne up above
Leaving all who cared for you behind
Oh how thoughts of death do bevy my mind
I should move on but you were my friend
And with your death also bringeth my end
Im sorry I cannot live like you lived each day
Just numb the feeling, let me slip away

| I didn't lose a friend by death, I lost her cause I moved away and she stopped writing. but the pain is there like I lost her in death. remembering.... Here is a hug my friend. The pain eases as time goes by. That we can hope for. BEAUTIFUL WRITE OF YOUR HEART ... |

Aww you have brought so much tears to my eyes with this one. My heart is feeling the scarred wounds of when I lost my best mate.
Hang tuff my dear friend. Condolences on ur loss. I can sadly relate to the pain and anguish that u r feeling. My heart and prayers are with u.
