RAINDROPS ON WAX

Like tears that never disappear,
Tear drops of pain extremely severe..........
Buried deeply within your heart n'er appear!
Depth charges, losing a loved one so dear.

We, of the human race,
Bury pain we are unable to face.
Raindrops on wax will accumulate
Within our hardened heart, sadnesses await.

Pain so extreme, our feelings we sedate!
A spoken word, familiar view......
Trigger memories, and painfully update.
Breaking through sedated pain, hurtful debute.

Merciful are the kinder years of beauty
Clemency and malevolence from severity.
A different time, a strange place.....
Yet our feelings of love we still embrace.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life,
nor angels nor governments nor things now here,
nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth
nor any other creation will be able to separate us
from God's Love, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
From the Bible-- Romans 8:38 & 39

In the background of these tears there is always the "Herzeleid" (heart-ache os loss, loss, the awareness of which just cannot go away. No matter how much time elapsed.since it happened.
Very emotional, tender, and beatiful composition.
Heartache, --camouflaged. camouflaged.!
Let the good Lord attend to it ConSue.
Be blessed!
Love
Elizabeth
