tell me the secret behind those eyes
that lay so carefully in their puddle of deception
of misunderstanding and understanding all too well
tell me their lies and their truths
tell me the moment in which they weep is for a reason that rings so close to your slowly beating heart
tell me that their tears arent hollow measurements of whom you become
tell me that their smile are something more than they seem
tell me the secret behind their mesmerizing gleam
tell me their future and their goals
tell me everything inside of them
of which I wish to know
let me in on their everlasting dance of life
as they move rhythmically to happiness and strife alike
tell me what hides behind those eyes so ever seeming innocent
tell me just what kind of heart ache lies behind their gate
let me know once and for all
the passage of their fate.
