I bow to the goddess of speech
Saraswati, who is pure like ice,
Sanctifies like camphor flame
Who is resplendent like full moon
That rains nectar on her devotees,
Lustrous like necklace of pearls
Shining with a body of golden brilliance
With garlands of golden wax flowers
Hanging on her lofty luscious breasts,
To attain the speech with splendor
And poetry divine I pray to her!
Salutations to Saraswati, the Goddess
And the protector of universe seated
On a white lotus wearing a white
Shining apparel, besmeared with
Sweet scented unguents and anointed
With white sandal pastes, adorned
With white glittering jewels and
Holds in her hands the universe
As a diamond lute, while the sages
Sing hymns of praise, I pray to her
To attain the speech of splendor
And poetry with glorious word!

Your prayers my friend, have been heard and answered some time ago. Your eloquence with words has been a pleasure and a long standing staple of this site ... once again, a beautiful devotion to influential spirits. May you continue for all time to reap the benefits and bounty of her favors.

A textured piece, adorned with unearthly figurative and descriptive language.
“Sanctifies like camphor flame”

As well as heart-warming similes.
“Who is resplendent like full moon”

The metaphors, divine and visually tasteful, most viscous and lush!
“That rains nectar on her devotees,
Lustrous like necklace of pearls”

I adore the terminology and congruency, the Goddesses and her natural alliances.
“Holds in her hands the universe
As a diamond lute, while the sages
Sing hymns of praise, I pray to her
To attain the speech of splendor
And poetry with glorious word!”

An extraordinary write, most unfathomable and spiritual.

A magnificent descriptive prose concerning the beauty of one’s thoughts and praise. One can almost smell the scented salves and distinctive aroma of mind filling incense accenting the mystical effects of the moment.

The title is beyond perfect. You know I have seen paintings and artwork from India and they leave me speechless at the remarkable, delicacy, time & patience and the colors, oh so beautiful, especially wedding attire oh and the jewelry as well.

My point to all of this is your poetry is so gorgeous and uplifting, wise yet youthful.

A wonderful poet you are.

I bow to you
How long have you been writing for?

Silence of awe is what your splendid words inspire. But man must communicate with speech and words of appreciation, no matter how inadequate they may be.

You have been blessed "Superabundantly" .
I read your poem over and over again, plus the comments and accolades of peers in poetry.. and noticed you went through trials and suffering. Lady Grief brought you benefits Venkat Sir, and sharpened the quill.and wound the lute' s strings and cords to sound so as to capture the hearts of your readers in storm.
What grief can do!
And now I am going to re-read your inspiring work and then keep "silent" in admiration.
Be blessed!..

Your words paint such a vivid masterpiece upon one's imagination. Some poetry is just words to be understood, but your poetry is to be absorbed in all it's glory. Like a great painting, or a fine wine. Excellent work, my friend. You deserve all the kudos you recieve and then some. And, I thank you for your kind comments on my blathering. lol Take care and Peace to you, deserve it.
