I lost the object of my desire
The one who set my heart on fire
Black ringed, blue eyed gaze
Stare enchanted for hours and days
The warmth of the gentle caress
That smoothed out this ***** mess
Your golden halo, oh so bright
Filled my soul, gave me light
Shadows on pavement, merged as one
But now it has all been and gone
The beauty made my heart skip a beat
Now in despair I fall to my feet
I lost the object of my desire
The one who set my heart on fire
