"WHY WE LOVE MOMS"

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said,
"I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."
To the kitchen where lunches for the next day were made.....
She rinsed popcorn bowls. took meat from the freezer,
Enough for all at the next evening supper.

She checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar bowl,
Placed spoons and bowls on the table, easy control.
Filled the coffee pot for brewing the next morning too.
She then put wet clothes in the dryer,
a load in the washer, before it grew!
Ironed a shirt, and sewed on a button or two.

Cleared the table of game pieces left over,
Put the phone back on the charger............
And the phone book back in the drawer.
Watered the plants, and folded a towel on the dryer.

She yawned and stretched on her way to bed.
Stopped by the desk, and wrote a note to the teacher instead!
Counted out cash for the field trip, pulled a hiding text book out
from under the chair.....
Signed a Birthday card for a dear friend and addressed it
and stamped it, to be sent somewhere!

A quick note for groceries put by her purse.....
She then washed her face with 3-in-1 cleanser
for wrinkles reverse.
A Night solution age-fighting moisturizer,
Brushed and flossed her teeth and filed her nails, applying color.

Dad called out, "I thought you were going to bed?"
"I'm on my way," she said.
She put some water into the dog's dish,
Put the cat outside, and locked all the doors,
safe never foolish!

Turned the Patio light on, and looked in on the little ones
Turned out their bedside lamps and picked up their mittens.
Conversed with the older ones doing their homework,
A mother's brainwork is as good as her footwork!

In her own room she set the alarm clock......
Laid out clothing for the next day, ahead of the flock!
Straightened up the shoe rack, wrote in her diary
She said her prayers, realizing she could never reach
all of her goals without faith bravely!

About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced
"I'm going to bed." And he did . . . without another thought.
And you might ask, "Why We Love Moms?
Because for all she does, day in and day out.......no Mom
could ever be bought!!!!

She does everything out of love, and from the bottom of her heart!
She paints with love, the most precious piece of art..........
just because she's a Mom and feels blessed to be a part!

Many places all over the world tonight......
Mothers are saying "thank you" for their birthright.
For you see, there could never be.......
a job more worthy than being a "Mommy!"

momma ConSue this is a heavenly divine write which touches just about everyone at the core of their hearts. You capture the true essence of what it's like being a mother. Your writes are always heart felt and so inspirational I just wished there were alot more people out there with a heart of gold like yours.

I am blessed for I have 2 mums
Who are special in many ways
My list can go on for miles
At the amazing things they do each day
I say my daily prayers for them
For without them I'd be lost
They keep a look out for me
So I don't get hurt at any cost
Where would I be without their love
Only God would know
How much I need my 2 mommas
For the special love for me they show
Bless you both in everyway
For your kind and loving ways
That beauty inside ur hearts
Just keeps growing everyday
Thank u kindly from my heart
For sharing ur love
I have been surely blessed
From heaven up above...

Thanks for everything momma ConSue. Love ya always your brat # 2,
~sue~
