Wings
If we could fly, just think
how different it would be
Would we have need for cars-
or ships, upon the sea?
Would we have need for telephones
to give someone a call
Or would they be obsolete,
when we could fly there, after all?
There'd be more little creatures
running on the ground
But what about the birds on high
would any of them be found?
Just think of all the things
that would change if we could fly
Border patrol for one -
would we build fences in the sky?
Here's another one -
what about countries
Would we just be one land
if wings could set us free?
There are so many things
stop and think about a few
If only we had wings
just what on earth - we'd do?
