The day was warm
I looked at you
The sky was blue
Trees a leafy green
You the prettiest I've ever seen
You took my arm
The leafy trees turned
Yellow orange red and brown
It was cool
The day was warm
The leaves were gone
Together we traveled on
You took my arm
Bare trees were lined with snow
It was cold
The day was warm
You more beautiful today
Have I greyed
You took my arm
It was bitter cold
The day was warm
You took my arm
I held on to you
Cold winds soften
Green grass and flowers grew
Trees turned green
I looked at the prettiest girl I've ever seen
You took my arm
The day is warm

Sinned

To my wife Beverly June

What a moving and beautiful tribute to your wife Dennis.
Whatever the season, true love blooms.
And cannot be intimidated by grim wheather nor the vicissitudes of life.
Lovely
Blessings
Elizabeth

Nice poem for your wife...
