My past is the Animal
or so I was named,
but today the past is gone
for I have been tamed.
Taming my anger
with Jesus helping me
I found a tamed Animal
that now I do see.
Today I look at then
and it's a bit understood.
and now I use the bad of then
to try to do some good.
My past is the Animal,
yet I'm still today,
but I'm not the same Animal
that had ceased to pray.
I'm tamed with the word of God
and what all He's done,
for I found a tool to use
through Jesus His Son.
