I think of the last time we were together
All the inside jokes
the late night trips to the diner
They know us by name
we come in carfuls and caravans
Me and Red get coffee that we can't live without
Dana gets a coke and Tinkerbell gets water
He's watching his girlish figure
We pull out the cards and relive the past few days
sparing no details
wether we want to or not.
It's sacred here.
It's our scantuary.
As strange as this sounds
to me this is home. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 16 [informant] => emokid [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )

This is good. I think most everyone finds a place like this sometime in their lives. Mine was in college and it was a coffee house. Wish I had a dollar for every hour spent there. Great memories. Great poem.
