Dandelions in hand, entranced by each fluttering eyelash,
Dancing in endless meadows of beauty and bliss,
I take in a long breath of hope,
And sing to a surreal illusion…

Reveling cups of eternal sunshine,
Light of the moon sewn into my long locks,
Stars lost forever in my eyes,
Head tilted to the side, pondering,

Why do we feel?

Do we have winding circuits, threads of memory and gigabytes?
Boa-constrictor wires of electrical energy and intelligence sparking our minds,
Shaking our hearts awake,
And screaming to our blind eyes,

WEEP!

With no reason?
No purpose to lament, but the life-changing whisper of fate in the winds?
The evitable sunset and moonrise?
The waltz of autumn leaves and stiff willow trees?
Ashamed of their wooden ugliness,
Yet, their ancient tresses bloom lunar flowers,
And the splendor strikes the heart with an iron fist,
The pleasurable pain evoking tears of inspiration…

Embraces of a celestial being,
Mother,
Bittersweet expressions of life and love,
Spoken tenderly to a wise youth’s ears…
Creating an image, drawing a thought without a face,
A scribble reads its diary and,
Without wanting to,
Its lips murmur a name…

Blinking is destiny.
The struggle is fought deep inside,
And the forms mold,
That which in reality,
Doesn’t exist…

Beauty is found,
Through a smile between hands,
Through a breath of light and voice and kiss,
Dwelling in your eyes…
Mirror, today I slept in your smoldering gaze,
And I felt radiant…

All I can say is "wow." You have incredible talent. That poem was interesting, engaging, extremely well phrased- everything. You captured the essence of life. Keep writing, you have something special.

This is as beautiful as they come, from an angel's pen the words of thruth have been
set free, discribing what is in the very heart of the angel herself . . . Bravo Piqua Uno

Slendid indeed. Some days are so beautiful whilst others are so sad. I am happy that you had one of the better days today.

Wonderful

Sometimes we have to gaze a little deeper into our self-mirror, but that happy radiance is always in there.

This is a brilliant poem.

Wow... whenever I think I can never be
amazed by you again you prove me wrong
and amaze me further. I must be honest and
state that the bolded, capitalized, "WEEP!"
made me jump and I thought that that was
brilliant making that word into a stanza
because it looks so strong on its own and
with that one word it says so much. I would
do a great injustice if I failed to point out that
the whole poem was equally strong and that
no line exhibited any weakness. I must
isolate the second stanza however because
the imagery just stunned me. "Light of the
moon sewn into my long locks,/Stars lost
forever in my eyes" Thank you for being an
inspiration to me.
