New year, new hopes, new dreams,
Same dark sky or so it seems,
We all hate winter here in the UK,
Gonna move my butt abroad today.
If you live in much warmer climes,
Please excuse these pathetic rhymes,
Just tell me how much it costs to stay,
Gonna move my butt abroad today.
No amount of festive lights brighten,
The gloom as the rain belts tighten,
Give me Spain, Jamaica or Malay,
Gonna move my butt abroad today.
