Why must everyone be so cruel?
They judge her appearance
And they think something is immortaly wrong
There isn't a thing wrong with her
She is not infected
All those people who don't know her think she is this thing.
This thing that will infect and sooner or later destroy their precious community.
Those people just don't know.
They don't know who this girl is and what she is about.
Those people who judge her don't know her.
They choose not to get to know her because of what they think she is and what they choose to think she is about.
Those people,
who think she is out to destroy the community are destroying the community themselves.
Because what they think is far from the truth and they choose to think no other fact, other than
this girl is infected.
She is not infected, she is not out to destroy.

Oh this breaks my heart....I can't hardly stand to even look at people who judge others without knowing them, grrrr i really could almost use the word hate in this sentence but hate is such a strong word.....thank you for sharing this one it reminds me why im not a judgemental person....

i've had ppl hate me b/c of how i dressed. my first week of grade 8 someone i didn't know yelled at me, "Nobody dresses like you!" more recently, i've seen a frined of mine treated unfairly and like she's some sort of satanist b/c of how she dresses. your poem speaks truth. thankyou.

i think ur a feak. yes, a feak. u need to learn to write GOOD poetry. Y do u give a ***** about wat people think about u? I think u r infected. U let them hurt u. haha loser
