The glass is beautiful with my blood
Splattered abstractly on the fragments.
Still, the glass has not cut me deep enough
To shed the sadness of the happiness that went
Too far out of my reach.
Today still isn't my day to live.
All of these dreams will never be
Anything, but the thoughtlessness I give.
Nothing matters to me
When I'm still purposeless.
I grasp for the hope that will be
Able to save me from my sickness,
And it still isn't there.
I'm here wasting away
Waiting for reasons to care
About living for just another day.
I still see insignificance
Staring back at me in the glass
That has a tear stained resemblance
Of what I never had in my wasted past.

Veins of Tears
The glass is beautiful with my blood

I love the way you have expressed yor emotions here, not just in a verbal sense, you have made this poem very visual with your words, right from the opening 2 lines.

Beautifui write, but without hope....it takes hope to really go on, have you none?
Someone something to give you hope I know it would help some.
Have you really no reasons to care? What about you? That's a great one reason for sure!

Loved it! The poetry in the first and last lines
and just the blunt description of your pain in
the middle stanzas really made the write
stand out in my opinion. I can really relate to
the last two lines in the first stanza and it is
comforting to know that you never cut
yourself... I hope it stays that way. Keep up

You imagery is brilliant and your hopelessness shines through like a beacon. My dear, insignificant you are not. You are a shining star in the world and you shine beautifully and boldly through your work. Never give up. One day your life will be illuminated and you will gaze in wonder at the beauty you have been missing.
