But I don’t dare to unleash,

I wipe my eyes as I stand alone,
Chilled through my body & bone,
I feel the ice creep up inside,
Only in my loneliness can I confide.
My heart wanders into dark,
It fails to hear the angles hark,
The power behind darkness,
Is cruel & so very selfish.
It wants me all to it’s self,
Fill my soul with the devils wealth,
Make me emptier than I already am,
I know it will & it knows it can.

Now I cry crystal tears,

Wow a really dark and heart felt write and I’m glad I read. Take care my friend and I’m sorry I don’t have time to write more for a comment things are busy over here in Iraq.

This stanza really gripped my heart and it had great imagery. It made me feel like this was me feeling the pain. It was truly a masterpiece and I thank you for sharing your pain….Steve
