Array ( [sid] => 9609 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Popular Girl [time] => 2003-01-02 07:40:00 [hometext] => I am not exactly the popular girl depicted in this poem, this is written about a friend of mine, basically judged by what I think popularity would be like to this extreme. [bodytext] => Hi, I'm the popular girl,
There's one in every school
Always happy, full of life
Never pain, never strife
Perky, peppy, pretty, perfect
What a wonder, every girl's dream
But when I go home I cry a stream
"Why?" you say in sheer dismay
"You've got it all, you've got it made."
But what you see is on the outside
No one bothers to look within
But for me to cry ? What a sin!
"Gotta cheer, gotta play
gotta be cute!" that's what they say
Step inside my shoes for but one moment please
Feel the stress, the cries, the plees
For just one day of rest and peace
To chill, simply let down my guard
"But it's so simple, she's got it made!"
"Her success is written in clay!"
These things you say with one quick look
I guess thats how it is written in that book

Very well written and I think often times sadly true. I hope to see more of your stuff.

I AM GLAD SO GLAD I WASN'T POPULAR. I DON'T THINK I WANTED THAT WAY ANYWAYS.
