In the breathless nights
Neath glowing moon
Too tired to fight

Your heart is heavy
And you begin to cry
Looking for something
That you can find

You see clouds of gold
And you long to embrace
But you realize they've gone
Gone without a trace

Before the sun comes up
In the desert sky
You try to forget everything
To keep your love alive

When you expect to go
You forget what to say
Remember all those thing
That you said that day

When you look behind
And the sadness fills
You try to run
Inside it hurts still

You see the tempest seas
Neath thunderous skies
Gaining a sudden fear
That you can't hide

After fear has gone
And the storms away
Clouds of gold appear
Hoping that they'll stay

But the wind still blows
In the golden sky
Caressing the summer
Before it says goodbye

May you never cry
Sail the calming sea
Amongst warm nights
So you'll remember me

When your love is lost
And you cannot find
Just lift your head
And i'll be right behind

If the gray clouds come
And the sky turns black
I'll be there waiting
So you can take one step back [comments] => 2 [counter] => 163 [topic] => 2 [informant] => SpreadYourWings [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
