Where were you when Orion passed

For all the distant stars are gone...
You've followed them for me?

Where have you been.. nepenthe-
since tides upon the shore?
You've gently rocked our love to sleep
in passion nevermore.

Ypur talent is extraordinary. Has the flavor of Poe to me, or maybe that is the reference to nepenthe which was used in "The Raven". Quaffing nepenthe to forget a lost love. I still think this is brilliant.

Great write MOH.......i really enjoyed reading it. I especially liked the way you put your words together.........rather like a song in question. Was a real fine job of imagery also, I could see so much of it in my mind's eye! Keep up the good work.
Warm love
consue

see billy, someone else said poe. =] of course the nevermore part made me think of him this time around. you have talent and you are making good use of it, with each post you seem to grow to where amazing poems are always written. this was my favorite part,
"For all the distant stars are gone...
You've followed them for me?"
