Hung on a wall…
What its there for
I can’t seem to recall..

An empty feeling
Kept deep inside
My heart is broken
My love has died..

Empty hearts
And broken dreams
Makes it more
Than what it seems

A folded picture
Found below
The picture frame
And where it should

I open the frame and
A letter falls out
I don’t want to know
What that letters about

But I open it any way
Not know what I’ll read
Out of the letter
Falls out a seed

In the letter says plant this
Seed and it will grow
And all of the pain
You will surely let go

Because with growth
A wound will heal
And you will learn
Again how to feel

This seed represents you
Your broken heart
Now you can make
A new beginning a clean start

This letter taught me
More than I knew about my self
So I move that frame
And put it on a shelf

Still empty but some how
It represents more
Because I know now
What I didn’t know before…

Great poem.
I wish I could find that letter,
but sadley it's been lost in the sorrow and pain I have felt recently.
GREAT write.

this is really good i like the empty picture frame with the letters and how it went from meaning heartbreak to meaning new beginnings
