It Lives Inside Me

Lost in the motion, Breathing in deep, Bleeding mournfully, And longing for sleep,
Hell at my doorway, Heaven far away, Caught in a debt, I can never repay,
Migraine draining thought, Head in a daze, In my lost and angry soul, Is where the darkness preys,
It commands me every moment, Yet never says a word, I try to fight against it, But I am never heard,
No one cares about me, Except this darkness fleeting, It told me I would be prized, That it's care would be completing,
I take this knife unto my arm, To end the constant suffering, I carve it's symbol with shining eyes, Now darkness my sanity.
