On my own heart
To keep that blood
Off of my hands

Purging stuffed buffers
Of patience and understanding
To come 'round full circle
And open up again

Completing another cycle
Another wrap 'round the spiral
Determined to rememebr
The pasts of the past

Seeing pain as a
Building block
Not intentional despair

Seeing things lost
As a lesson
Not divine punishment

Seeing others' own path
And knowing full well
Helping or hindering
Is indeed but a choice

Trying hard to hold onto
This next time through
That this Life is momentary
'Til the next moment comes

Stretching the soul
Towards the edge of the skies
Encompassing as much as
This time will allow

Hoping to catch
In a freely thrown net
The lessons that wait
The reasons I'm back

Understanding not God
But the people around
And the nexus that binds us
And the path that it opens

So I'll spin you up
And you'll spin me higher
I will return the favor
We'll build til we're home [comments] => 2 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 43 [informant] => xnoybis [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

First stanza:
The grotesque –picturesque!
Metaphorical and ardent.

Stanza 3:
That of spherical nature, I can relate to.
Cyclical is all but nothing.

“Seeing others' own path
And knowing full well
Helping or hindering
Is indeed but a choice”
–This appeals to me most.
It is almost as thought One is allowed to alter the fate of others, by destiny’s hand, or not.

“Stretching the soul
Towards the edge of the skies
Encompassing as much as
This time will allow”

Some interesting philosophies and convictions in regards to reincarnation.

“Understanding not God
But the people around
And the nexus that binds us
And the path that it opens”

Absolutely enchanting.

I can sense a little bit of optimistism in this piece. This is a very good and encouraging poem!
