when stars had just begun..
the age of glory.. young in time
foretold His coming by the Sun.

When in the light of Nature's dawn
rejoicing men and angels met
within a mighty timeless yawn..
for Heaven's Curtain opened yet!

So Earth lay closer to the skies
than in these days of crime and woe..
and mortals saw.. without surprise
the glow of good on them below.

Alas! Benevolence abstained
from all the mornings of the Earth
and sadder still.. the fatal stain
that darkened all of Heaven's Birth.

...an evening.. in that time of doom
on Highest Hill where hung the ray
of sunset, where in Heaven's bloom
three nobel youths in slumber lay..

and as they woke from all of time
in furthest sky where daylight whirled..
on golden wing and grand sublime
they traveled to our distant world.

These nymphs of light, like water played
in motes of time around the Lord ..
and blest our moments, night and day
in echo of His Holy Word!

Hey B~
I went back through ur amazing poetry and realized that the quality of remarkable work has not changed, but the talented poet behind these beautiful masterpieces has. He has reached incredible heights. One thing I know and can vouch for is that you have earned your way to the top dearest Billy~
Not once have I visited your pages and found myself disappointed with their contents.
You have always had it in you my dear friend.
You weave ur magic through ur pen and into our hearts. Be proud of what you have achieved and what you can still achieve dearest Billy~
A divine write, thanks for sharing your work with us.
with love from ur devoted fan/friend,
