We sit alone, just me and him.
The air is cool, the stars are bright,
I lie in his arms and he holds me tight.

With my head on his chest, I hear his heart beat,
He holds me close, I feel complete.
I feel his breath upon my face,
He goes to speak, my heart starts to race.

He sits up, and looks right at me,
All is silent, except for the sea.
I wait for the 3 words I expect him to say,
But instead he says, "I'm going away."

I look at him confused and pray it's a lie,
He bows his head as I start to cry.
"BUT I LOVE YOU!" I sob as he gets up to go,
He looks at me sadly and whispers, "I know."

I now sit here each night, and ask myself "Why?"
I've cried all the tears it's possible to cry.
My heart is broken, as is my soul,
I've lost the man, who makes me whole.

The Sun goes down, the sky grows dim,
I sit alone and think of him.
The air is cool, the stars are bright,
I guess I'll cry again tonight... [comments] => 1 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 22 [informant] => zeferret [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

awwwww....you made me cry. i am really sorry about that. you'll get over him i promise something similar to that happend to me, except the guy well lets just say he didn't even say good-bye he just left. i got over the deep way i felt about him but haven't gotten over him being gone.i mean i still love him and i am of corse sad that he died but i know he is happier up in hevan than he ever was here.
=Jen=
ps- you might be able to still get him back if you try hard enough.....if your willing to risk the chance of getting hurt again.... toodles
