and it''s...
That''s smooth and weathered down
Like those rocks they sell as worry stones
and, well
That''s rather appropriate, quaint
because
you see
--well
the comfort in the two is comparable
it''s like
like
kind of like
really like
...
safety.
Home.

And...
There''s this glitter in my eyes
I think it''s inside them, actually
really
That I remember
From the time we met,
and, From the night I realized...
and, From that first harvest moon
It''s the same glitter, I mean,
Tonight might has well have been the first
The first
for everything
for love
for Our Love.

and there''s really no reason, it was just another night
no stars, just blue-grey clouds,
dusty dusky nighttime color
and you.

I love him
all over again
and I don''t know why
but that doesn''t matter
because I love him
and I love him
and I love him

And the shoes hardly matched
but they felt just right after all
just like this CD in the background, really
kind of
it''s just that...
it all fits
more perfectly than a puzzle

And in that kiss
in that kiss
that kiss

sigh

kiss
In that kiss
it felt like
just like
I don''t know
like my heart was alive
no, really
alive
Alive
like a current
electric, water and air all at once
maybe
I don''t know

Oh!
This song is perfect for the night
and the first time we met
and the night I realized
and
and also...
nights to come

I just want to rest my head on his shoulder
in the dark
on the grass
near the trees
and the moon
and maybe the stars
again and again and again

And I know this will happen
We''ll do this all over
For hundreds of years
It''ll be beautiful
rekindle
revive
re-embrace

for hundreds of years
for hundreds of years
for hundreds of years

and we''ll drift off to sleep
the happiest sleep
even if apart
together forever

oh, I love him

and the pose on the porch
like a model
but only so much more romantic

and the last time we stood on the porch
maybe the porch is where I just know...
I just know
you know?
that little sideways glance I have
and that gaze that he''s had
that gaze that he''s had since the beginning of time

I could melt in that gaze
and maybe I did
and maybe that''s why we''re here today
but who cares...

because I love him

because I love him

because I love him

Wow. This is the kind of poem that I don´t want to end, but I want to know the cunclusion, if you want to know what I mean. It brought many memories back. They were beautiful ones, thank you.
Well written.
Take care.

I loved everything about this. It's so different, and I felt like i read the whole thing in one breath. Not sure if I was holding it, or if the words just flowed so quickly and romantically. I love all the repetition, and I love how wonderfully you portrayed your sense of awe and loss of words and thoughts, yet finding them all at the same time. It just seemed so real.
