A gleaming stone
Silver white
Incandescent sphere
Lights up the night
Smooth as glass
Wild and free
Taken with care
From the fish of the sea
Reflection of the moon
Hidden underneath
Layers of waves
And an oyster sheath
One grain of sand
Transformed to be
A beautiful wonder
Of the sea.
