Patience sits on the skin of the eager captive.
waiting with ease but thinking with diffuculty.
knowing the truth but living a fantacy.
breathing in lies and acting on nothing.

Anger seaps in the skin of the broken.
no longer cryes because his cell has won.
suffering, intence.
seeing the sky but cemented to the ground.
hearing the birds but missing the song.

Why lives in the skin of the willing.
wanting to learn but willing to settle.
selfish and silly and ready to die.
feeling but storing it away in a bottle.

surrendering is the skin of the weak
thinking that words scream louder then actions.
but actions are truths in the mind of the scared.
not ready to smile or act on a tear.
but hurting the skin of the one who was there.
