[bodytext] => A door has been opened to the street, upon where I was casually, calmly strolling at noon. The sweet and natural aroma of incense, of India, sifted into my thoughts Through the door I could see Every dream, every wish But little did I know That my real fate lay Much deeper Through the door, through the room Past beads and smoky haze I glanced up Couldn't look away Not words, nor music Could break my trance Like Scarlet Begonias My eye was called, leaving me Lost, speechless Such beauty before me I left in a daze Still smiling, and still smelling incense, India My life had changed Dreamt that night of how it would be now that I'd been there Seen, felt Pure beauty, new to me And after it's over Who will I be? Maybe refreshed, renewed Believing in love at first sight [comments] => 1 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 30 [informant] => youlied [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => PoemsonBeauty )
