it is the hardest part
Must learn to keep my cool
and live my life so smart

Unemployment eats away
at all my self respect
takes a confident man
renders him into reject

Prior to my belief, the
world doesn't spin 'round me
Starting up a company
doesn't happen easily

So I wonder at anxiety
and what I do expect
That company says they want me
be happy at that prospect

But when the fridge is empty
as is my bank account
The waiting is more taxing
like climbing the steepest mount

But are these things not short
term, they're actually rather fleeting
Homeless and starving's not likely
a prospect that I'll be meeting

This is my opportunity
to grow and practice patience
It is time to act adult and
not treat it like a nuisance

These words are so high sounding
but when affairs of the heart
are involved it is much harder
when from her I am apart

But out of the blue it hits me
like a religious epiphany
that the solution was so obvious
makes me realize it's funny...

Two sides there are to every coin
and this side do I choose
Think fondly of her while I wait
and I know I'll never lose

There are indeed two sides, my friend. Wise choice.
