the space and time in between seems so vast
The reflection in the mirror is one of worry
these memories coming back in a hazy flurry

An innocent vision meant to disarm
suddenly has me panicked and full of alarm
Can't shake this feeling that something is wrong
this gut-wrenching sensation I feel is so strong

I need this dream analyzed---Doc where are you?
You can calm my worries, and this anxiety subdue
just one hug from you to ease my fright...
and into this mysterious image, shed some light

For now I'll try and clear these cobwebs from my mind
and hopefully in time, logical answers I'll find. Great opening line, I think I will remember that one for a long time to come.
I seem to be one of the strange people that never dream, or at least never remember them.
Maybe I'm really living in one.
Thanks for sharing yours

Steve

So few poems are about dreams. I've written a few myself. But you'd think that as significant or emotional as we are about them we'd put them in poems more often. Anyway, you got the emotion in there. Good write!

I've had premonitions before. Can't remember any for quite a few years but they indeed happened before. Get the de ja vu a lot, lately and I sometimes wonder if that's actually a slight memory of a dream this would happen.

And forget the doc! One might say it's just a dream and the next might say you need therapy. Been there done that with them trying to over analyze my *****.

I liked reading this again.

Thankies Scorpendous!
