what i've done to you

to see all the things
you've done to me
i will continue to love you
till the day that i die
because i never want
to have to say
"i guess i should have tried"
tried harder to solve
whatever was in the way
tried harder to get along
tried harder to stay
why have you chosen to
move on while i mingle here
ill keep you in my heart
and in my mind
for i am true in you a friend
even if you chose not to be in me

thinking of times

I'm sitting here thinking of
all the times we've shared
all the good and the bad
all the ups and the downs
we sat here last summer
in this same spot
we talked about life
where should we go
and what was right
i can remember that night
so clear in my mind
i remember how tight
we were at the time
i really dont know
what i've done to you
and you cant seem
to see all the things
you've done to me
i will continue to love you
till the day that i die
because i never want
to have to say
"i guess i should have tried"

whatever was in the way
tried harder to get along
tried harder to stay
