feather caress her soft skin riddled with scars
but a single tear rolled down her cheek
standing on the edge of a knife
she watches all the smiling faces
and rolling landscapes
stepping, she leaves the ground
her wings catch the air
as she falls
for a moment she expirences the thrill
as her body dances on the air
but her feathers fade
one by one
memory by memory
the wind carries them away
until there is nuthing
but shattered dreams
and broken promises
nuthing left but tears
and shadows
and saddened eyes
falling
taking one last look
she sees watis left of her body
broken, lying on the cold tile floor
stained with blood
razor lying beside her
nothing left
