Waiting for the tournament,they cheer and cry out loud
The trumpets play their fanfare as the knights wait to begin
I sit here and I wonder if my favourite knight will win

The stallions stamp and whinny, they are waiting to begin
Snorting with excitement,at the crowds almighty din
A bold and valiant figure makes his way towards his horse
He climbs into the saddle and then plots his steady course

He moves so sure, majestically,he stops to lower lance
I take out my white handkerchief and tie it,give shy glance
I will be your lady sire, if you will be my knight
And I will sit and wait for you as you go out and fight

The joust begins, the trumpets blare,I hear the clash of steel
The knights collide together,I can see their senses reel
They turn around, they bow ,and as they charge and charge again
My Arthur and Black shadow, crash together in a spin

But all at once an eerie hush,a knight lays very still
He prays as his opponent waits to charge in for the kill
Then suddenly my Arthur casts his lance and sword away
I will not kill that my my bride,today's my wedding day [comments] => 4 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 40 [informant] => gwenevere [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
