even when darker than blue
hand me the handgun, i can't understand fun
i broke all the candles in you...

a state of decay, comes often to play
when my skin begins to unravel
or rather it crawls, up ladders and walls
when does it ever not travel...?

i wish she would leave, so i could now grieve
then pass into madness above
instead i'm on earth, left burnt at my birth
nothing prepares me for love...

she's all the flames, that flicker mind games
i'm burnt at every which turn
yes i'm in love, it's what i'm afraid of
never will hate let me learn...

so i'll sing till i bring her more roses.

Well DW you always find someway to write amazing work your mind ran dry one time but before and now after it never stops. You write work that really sucks my mind into your words and they are much enjoyed. This write was sad but happy at the same time. I know what that fear is and pain in love. Its pain because that’s all you know and have learned from past loves. I hope all goes well and I look forward to more of your writes. Take care always, your friend….Steve
