Lips of scarlet, skin so white
Eyes so black, and heart so cold
Beautiful lady without a soul

Fated by a vampires kiss
Caught out by such instant bliss
Doomed forever by the curse
Lying in your silk lined hearse

Awake my lady, it is night
Spread your wings and take to flight
Hurry back before the day
Now it is the only way

Wait a minute, what is this?
Is it the real life you miss?
Life of love and life of pain
Do you want to live again?

Angel sitting over there
wings of gold and silver hair
Waiting there to help you through
If it's what you want to do

Beautiful lady, kneel and pray
Become a beauty of the day
Let the angel join your flight
Take you to a heavenly height

Songbirds sing a joyful song
Heaven above do you belong [comments] => 4 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 40 [informant] => gwenevere [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )

(and remembered why I love your work so much)

A most beautiful write friend..

Brilliant post. Beautiful imagery and lovely thoughts penned. One life is dark it does not have to stay that way. It can be changed by simply asked the creator. I am impressed. I hate dark writes.
