Of a little girl
Who never cried,
And listened to all the lies
She believed that she was dumb
She grew very numb
They told her she was worthless
She became very helpless
Every night she wanted to cry
And she really wanted to die
No one was kind to her
She began to suffer
Listening to more of their lies
Struggling through life
Instead of crying
She began cutting
She cursed herself
Wishing for death
No one knew about her
Always called her a liar
She started to hate
Herself, calling herself a fake
They did this to her, taking out
Their anger, told her not to pout
She went to her room
Looked at the full moon
And wanted to cry
But instead decided to die
It’s been one year
Since she last shed a tear
She didn’t want to break that
She looked down at the body they called fat
She believed she was fat, but really was thin
She was nothing but bone and skin
It’s been a week since she last ate
Thought anorexic might be her fate
She grabs the knife
Decides to end the strife
She stabs herself
Calling out to Death
As she slowly dies
She begins to cry
Tears of joy
Death brought on joy
