Array ( [sid] => 99321 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Mistaken Blaming [time] => 2005-06-25 22:47:49 [hometext] => I wrote this, to show people why bad things happen, and I am tired of everyone blaming God, or not believing just because of a hard time [bodytext] => “How could God let this happen?”
I often hear you ask
Well, it’s not God’s fault
For mankind did the task

To all the non-believers
You may stop reading if you please
For I am about to explain
Why pain and sorrow has to be

God respects all of us
That we may live once of two ways
The way he intends for us to live
Or we’re allowed to create our own way

He didn’t want you to be a murderer
Yet he knows if you will
He didn’t want you to commit wicked sins
Or to beat, rape, or kill

If you are blaming God
It must be because of fear
You’re afraid to face your own faults
Ashamed of shedding tears

Many believe God’s mean
His intention for us to go to hell
But God understands we’re sinners!
And he intends for us to do well

So there you have it
God gives us respect
It’s mankind’s fault
If their lives are wrecks [comments] => 3 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 11 [informant] => dreamer_4_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

Good write, I think you might want to develop the whole pre-destination philosophy a little more, although you did adress it with the line:

"He didnt want you to be a murderer
Yet he knows if you will"

Still a great write.

Hey you may see ?'s all over the place! It's not me who put them there, it seems yourpoetry turned every little puncuation thing almost like quotations and stuff into question marks, that's a little irritating, but I just needed to tell you they weren't put there purposely
