I hate to see you go,
Another time to go back there,
Another time to weep and moan,
I try not to think about it,
Then I turn on the news,
All I know what is happening,
Is hell all around you.
How are you really ?
I hope fine or at least ok.
I sure don't know why,
You had to enlist that day.
I was so proud that you will become a marine,
Life could be better for you in some ways,
But now since the war started,
I don't know if proud is the name.
I think it is scared,
Maybe worry,
I just wish you would come home now,
Please try to hurry,
So far in a distant land,
Will I see you again.
Why does it have to hurt this bad,
Wish I didn't have to worry. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 181 [topic] => 57 [informant] => nhisname2005 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => war )

I hate this war going on in Iraq. I hate war in general. I hope your brother makes it home safely and all the other folks that have been mislead by this government of ours. Peace to you and to your brother. Laura

So sorry to hear about your brother.
Please give him a message from me. Tell him I do so appreciate what he's doing. All the sacrifices he makes. Also i've put him in my prayers. I wish they could all come home but I know how dedicated they are.
My son use to be in the army but he never had to fight. He was in communications and it was his brain that did his work for him.
Jus keep the faith.
God bless u for writing this as our planet needs to know about the sacrifices that our soilders make.
luv, huggs, strength, prayer,
emy
May god bless him beyond measure and keep him safe from harm.
