dont scream and cry
youll be just fine
even though in not here
i took the knife deep
my wrists wouldnt stop pouring blood
my eyes wouldnt stop pouring tears
the rope around my neck was so tight
it reminded me of the nights i wanted to hold you
the note i left
bloody and tearstained
sits next to the knife
it reads:
' thanks for making me realize the world is nothing'
i couldnt handle all the pain at once
i wouldnt let the world see me like this
so i died tonight
the blood and tears finally stopped
and i couldnt feel the tightness of the rope
i hang in peace overlooking the world
that wasnt worth holding on anymore [comments] => 2 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 36 [informant] => unluckicharmz [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

the world is nothing, and you are right, it isnt worth holding on to... but that doesnt mean you have to die because of it. all the injustice that was done to you to make you feel this way... is real, it hurts, and you cant ignore it.. but know this, there is mercy, and healing to cover the wounds, and balm to bring comfort... the love of God poured out for you in the blood of Jesus, who loves you and wants to make your life right. he can free you from your mistakes, your guilt, he took the blame. he wants you to be free. he wants you to love and be loved. despite what the world says, the despair it tries to dump on us all.. there is freedom in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, because he took all of the junk in our lives on that cross to set us free. he is the only way. he is the truth, and the life everlasting. he is light... if only we are honest and confess our sins in truth, he will take them. he will turn your life into something beautiful. and this is his promise... seek, and you will find, knock, the door will be opened, ask, and you will recieve. he is real and he loves you... give him a chance to show you that.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
