forging a life that Iím soon to forget.
Moving through seas of motion and pain,
finding no answers I reach for the gate.
Getting nowhere from somewhere Iíve been,
It shows in the motions and actions Iíve taken.
Lost and alone still a boy, not a man,
someone so lost its hard to fathom.
Prayer was a waste it has shown me a path,
Iíve followed it gladly to forget the past.
Itís helped for a while has helped me to grow,
but back there and then the seed was sown.
Running away was the best thing to do,
fix yourselves problems, itís all on you.
The road ahead, will twist and will turn,
lost in the middle itís hard to return.
Just want to go back, fix what Iíve done.
erase all thatís happened the thing Iíve become.
Let me forget what was made way back then,
move on to the present how long has it been.
Looking back to remember the happiness there,
I truly canít find it, just pain and regret.
You now might get it the reason I write,
feeling sorry for doing stupid things in my life.
Things that will never be forgiven of me,
hiding behind a curtain a sheet of dreams.
I wish I could do it forget what was done,
it hurts that deep down that I want to return.
My life would be taken away pretty quick,
if I owned up to anything that it hurts to remit.
So here is the problem itís hard to receive,
but my life is a lie to you and to me.
To go back right now would destroy what Iíve made,
once broken its fragments will never remain.
It will be nothing, not a thing just the now,
gone forever never to be found.
So hiding Iíll keep them the secrets Iíve kept,
live the lie Iíve been living to never forget.
Hating myself for what I have done,
Iíll never get over the memories the pain they bring on.
Such ugliness lies beneath what you see,
leaving their marks indistinctive and mean.
Donít forget the future because youíre sure to forget,
that nothing can change the things I regret.
Remember my words hopefully one day youíll see,
that nothing is ever clear to be seen.
If one day you see me passing you by,
youíll never be able to tell itís a lie.
Because Iím hidden away from the truth,
watch out for me, I might be the guy in the suit.
Just passing you by on the street of your town,
never betraying the person Iíve found.
So Iíll keep building it up this lie,
just to prove that sometimes the light loses sight.
Hopefully something will help me to see,
I want a way out for you and for me.
Something that leaves me at where I am now,
but helps fix the problems I need to renounce.
One day I hope that Iíll find the path,
straighter than ever and where itís the best.
Well, for now Iíll stay where i've has been,
hiding and sneaking behind this mask.
