It's Only Me

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Tuesday, 8th September 2015 @ 10:09:07 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Lead me to the sea
But don't let me swim
Leave me lie in the sun
All white in the sand
Say you love me
Only when you're with him
Show me your world
But don't let me in
Listen to me
Though you will not subscribe
Show me a future
Without you or I
Show me who I am
Only on a whim
Brighten my world
So I can not see
Tip on your toes
As you run from me
Show me all the things
I can never be
When I'm alone with you
It's only me

I can relate to this.

"You want to know what's eating me
You say we're friends but we never meet
If I wanted to be alone
I can do that on my own"

Excerpt from "What's eating me" By Archie Brown

This is great!!! I too found myself relating too well to this. Also, it sort of reminded me of something I wrote about my former second wifey poo. I swear, sometimes I think you're writing about her.

Your were the most stunning bride
Behind your eyes dead hope did hide
Beautiful star you were my pride
Never loved me, so at night I cried

Timotheus can share excerpts too! wink photo cid_20464F9289AB441CB8AAF7967356146.gif

Thank you for posting.
