Hereís the holiday my friends that Jenny Craig-ers hate;
The Achilles Hell of slim, that makes Weight-Watchers wait!
The poster child of excess, that causes flabby wobble;
As we stuff the stuffing down and gobble gobble gobble!

A yearly test of willpower, which every year I fail!
That Optifast and Slimfast consider holy grail!
With the best intentions, letís sit to our defeat;
Embrace the fate of overweight;óAmen you all, letís eat!

Nice one. I am over 10 Kgs over weight. And need to loose some Kilos but now I think, I may just embrace the fate, and feast.
Thanks for sharing, I am chuckling as I type my response.
Good one. I like this poem. Well done.

Wonderfully clever! I thought about dropping some words on the day, but why? You've already done so in your usual excellent, clear, clever and precise way. It's tough to top perfection.

Fifteen years ago, I was 5'4" tall and 113 lbs. Then I got a job. Within a year and a half, I gained 72 lbs.
In the last few years, I have managed to drop 23 lbs, but I still have about 42lbs to go.
Reading this gave me a good chuckle.
Great write.
