Progress, not Perfect

Contributed by Beyfoxman5 on Tuesday, 22nd December 2015 @ 09:13:04 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

If you feel an
Look for signs of†

Not perfect

Notice when you are not feeling
As cold
And notice the dimmest light in
The hole†

Keep searching for the prize at the end of
The rope
For deep in your mind there is an endless supply of

The rise has never been achieved without work
I/'/m certain†
Failures are in the the past; leave them there†
Close their curtain†

You deserve the best
Nothing less
Appreciate the steps†
The progress†

Yes Bayfoxman5!

The intrigue is in knowing the imperfect is not imperfection at all.
"Appreciate the steps
The progress"
the one before the other, as it must be. I appreciate this poem, the virtue behind it is salient advise in good times and in bad.

Such excellent advice and council on continuing to fight the battle to reach our goals.
As you say, even the dimmest light is after all, a light!
You have helped us to recall that we get what we believe we deserve, and not a bit more...
Hence the lesson here is to believe in our own worthiness. Can you do that?
Yes, you definitely can!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
