Our Wings Fly With Time

Contributed by waynster on Saturday, 24th December 2016 @ 04:19:47 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Spreading my wings to the essence of time
I believe I can fly
Every time I look back
I ask myself why

In the moments we get caught up
the realm of age we cannot see
Then as time passes by
the wrinkles of our skin show clearly

The winds of time carry us
it carries us so far away
Leaving many memories
so we donít forget each and every day

However there is no guarantee
our memories will not fade away
Once they are gone, theyíre gone
these wings will not bring us to the past for a day

I certainly donít like the wings of time
I donít like to fly so far on any day
My wrinkles are becoming too many
my memories are starting to fade away

When the wings of time are tired
and we can fly no more
Itís off to Heavens gates
with our wings of time we will finally soar

At that time of our journey
the pain and suffering of this world will go away
We will wait for our loved ones
their wings will too get tired some day
