unraveling

Contributed by ming on Friday, 4th August 2017 @ 01:48:38 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

trying yo get my shadow
not to swallow me whole

hiding my hole(d) heart-self
down
deep
deep
dark metaphors

everything is empty
including my glass

the sun burns
rhyme is cheap

the wolf dreams
of sheep I can not count

in a few months
wind bares trees

another death a season gone
a long rain/tears and cold

and what is gone
forever...

Hornby was correct
I think we hide away
somewhere not sure where
maybe close by
but wondering about it
all, especially once its gone,
like new trees grown by
seeds captured by the mere
possibility of wind
does make it complicated,
without question

You unravel things ming
root to leaf or twig or possibly
even vine.

Good stuff!!!

Peace!
