Something

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Saturday, 25th November 2017 @ 01:18:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

There is something
that is bothering me
I do not know what it is
it keeps me off balance and worries me

In the shadows
I can sense there is something lurking
it creeps it crawls....
I be In suspended animation
as I try to figure out what could it be

I am staggering
I know there is something wrong
what it is I just do not know.

we continue to hurt our selfs and others
and I just do not understand
why we can not be happy
or why we hesitate to lend a helping hand,
I dream of a junction
where only good things are happening
can you imagine
living in a world
where hate was just a legend.

There was something
that had
my mind playing tricks on me

I am staggering
because I now I know
I always knew
what was in the shadows lurking

Now that I know what it is
I am thinking
we got to get it together
before we all are gone.

yeah man, brother,
unknown_utopia,
there is this heartache
it kind of makes you angry
but at exactly what, in a sense
we feel too proud, the greatest
escape almost freely suspended
but not anyway close, where is this
risk, where is this suicide all around
and just when you are starting
to figure some things really do
matter quite a lot, things never said,
things, some things that might have
so felt right that you maybe hoped
you could share and pass down
to the next generation better than
your own, the whole entire reason
for waking up and putting up with
anything and everything, yes, I will
take my poison, I will be a scientific
experiment if it will help, lord knows
I have had my own fair share of disappointments
but still I always felt more than blessed,
extremely so. You know I was so wise as to
say, hell I don/t care what they say about me,
I am sure a lot of the things they say are
correct, I am a rock with some mold
growing just underneath, except I ain/'/t
got no groovy mold, I got no King Alfred/'/s Cakes,
no Cramp Balls, aint got no Dark Crazed Cap,
no Snaketongue Truffle Cups, I just dont.
Not even sure what a rock is compared to a grain of sand I think I am just silt / I wish I was
at least silt, and if I were, what questions would I ask today?

The ice I crawl within seems to be melting I just keep
losing my traction like a lego philosopher with a tiny face and hands.
Peace!

It is your negative energy that you have cast aside into the shadows and as long as you recognize it, you and the world are safe from it.

Kept at a distance it can not prevail...

A warning to us all. Fear can be self inflicted. It keeps us in stasis..free of making decisions and being accountable. Free of moving on and taking the wrong road. Free of being hurt.
Life is all these things. We are victims of our failures..but we are also authors of our success!
Life cannot be played on the bench, and you have given us a fine reminder to get out there and play in the puddles.
