COMES TO MIND

Contributed by emystar on Saturday, 24th March 2018 @ 12:22:34 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Society don/'/t bother me at all
I/'/ll just show them, if you
ever call.
Lonely is no place wonna be.
So please come to me.

When the thought of you
comes to mind, The tears
melt my heart every time.
Still You are so far away, luv
These magnetic beams
shine from. above.

My country friend likes
me a lot but baby he aint
got what you got.
so far, its just been
words on a page
real life isnt just a stage.

So tell me now,what
are we donna do? I need
luv thats long and
totally true. Tell me
some thing before I go
Please, I just need you so.

Like your title. The longing of a lover is always a good subject. Your poem seems like a song that could be put into many genres. It would be fun to tack a chorus on that piece.

Can I have your number? :)
Great write indeed. If the receiver doesn/'/t come running after this, he is a loser!

Dear Emy

How nice to read you again it areas for ever.
The longing of love is a good sign. For those who have stopped longing have stopped living. This is an awesome piece you have here would make for a sweet country song.

Greetings
Rus

my favorite part:

When the thought of you
comes to mind, The tears
melt my heart every time.
Still You are so far away, luv
These magnetic beams
shine from. above.

love that. this attraction u felt for someone who it seems they may have been far away...i just picture two ppl as magnets on opposite sides of the country that attract each other despite the distance.
